Flying with NVGs after Lasik

I had Lasik about ten days ago and everything seems fine, seeing 20/20. Have an appointment on Monday with AME to update my medical and not anticipating any problems.
Learned today that my boss has scheduled me to fly nights with NVGs starting Tuesday.
I am concerned that flying with NVGs this soon after Lasik will have an adverse affect on my eyes. Are my concerns valid? Are there risks?
Thanks.

Why would NVGs have any impact on your vision?

If anything, the ability to change the near focus makes less strain on the eyes.

I appreciate the information and I will discuss it further with my AME.

Hacker,
I don't know why flying with NVGs after having had LASIK would have an affect on my eyes that's why I'm asking. Maybe I'm being a little conservative but it's my livelihood.

I glad the forum is available to ask questions and seeks others opinion and experiences.

Fly Safe.

My eyes happen to be mine as well -- my point wasn't that you were being overly conservative.

My question was what made you think that NVGs would have any effect at all on your Lasik?

They don't physically touch your eyes, so they have about as much impact on your eyes as sitting in front of your computer monitor. In fact, they probably have less impact on your vision because of how they are focused to infinity and able to change their focal length.

Just seemed like a strange question...a bit of a non sequitur in my mind.
