Flying Music? Suggestions Here!

I think the Jimmy Buffet version of treetop flyer was better.

Catch 22 -- Kids in america - the first couple of lines always remind of flying alone.

Looking out a dirty old window.
Down below the cars in the city go rushing by.
I sit here alone and I wonder why.

Friday night and everyone's moving.
I can feel the heat but it's soothing.
Heading down, I search for the beat in this dirty town.

Social D. - Reach for the sky - kind of live life to the fullest song. Even talks about paying dues so its gotta be ok.

When I was young I was invincible
I found myself not thinking twice
I never thought about no future
It's just a roll of the dice

But the day men come when you've got something to lose
And just when you think you're done paying dues
You say to yourself "Dear, God What have I Done?"
And hope its not to late cause tomorrow may never come

Reach for the sky cause tomorrow may never come
Reach for the sky cause tomorrow may never come

Get Down, Fly in and Bring it back by Lil' Wayne (tha carter II is the is off the hook btw :bandit: ), Ryder Music by 50 cent, Doing Fine by Kanye West and Sittin' Sideways by Paul Wall. Thats the A-list.

Its 11 or 12 I think, what CD u like the best?

It's track #12. Best song on that CD IMHO is #10 it's all bout "Ski Mask Way."

The Massacre is okay...wasn't all that I expected it to be. But I liked it. Needed more Dre tracks.

Hands down his best CD is Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. The soundtrack is pretty tight though!

Metallica's The Unforgiven rocks pretty hard... in fact that whole album kicks a**

my friend video'd my solo years ago.. we edited it down to 15 minutes of footage and dubbed in that way cool first part of the Metallica S&M CD! Now, when I listen to the CD I thik of the solo, and when I am at the airport, I have Metallica in my head! How good is THAT!

I remember flying the last leg into MQT one night as a high-mins captain. I had the FO ask about visilibility and braking action reports for the airport. Minneapolis replied with "what kind of RVR do ya need?".

Great. No help.

There was one of those driving lake-effect snow storms which was so fierce that we had "thunder snow". Massively howling crosswinds off of Lake Superior and a brand-spanking new FO. Moderate turbulence, full boat, the "BAM!!! BAMBAMBAM!!" of ice flying off the props, scanning the instruments, looking out on the wing, crack another inch of moderate rime ice off with the boots, and no autopilot... the yaw damper kicking hard enough in the tubulence to make me imagine that the center of rotation was somewhere around 2C...

And for some reason, I had that song "Hell" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers playing over and over again in my head.

"...iiiiin the afterlife, you could be headed for the serious strife..." "d-and-the-a-and-the-m-and-the-n-and-the-a-and-the-t-and-the-i-o-n, lose your face, lose your name and get fitted for the suit of flaaaame!"

I had good training though, ain't that right "B767Driver"? :)

I can't really say what music gets me excited to fly. I always did like United's Gershwin, "Rhapsody In Blue." I don't know why, but every time I hear it my spirits lift about work. Reminds me of being a kid, dreaming of being a pilot.

They brought it back, i just saw it on their new "modern" commercials!

Gotta put "Money Ain't a Thing" by Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri to the in-flight mix:rawk:

If you on a long X-Country and you get lost you can pop in some Ja Rule. Your both lost after all. You can't find your way back to a reference point and Ja lost his career!
