I'll take $500 for the block.
What is: Queen: "One Vision"
Tell'em what he's won Bob!

Also on that CD is one of the Blue Angels background sounds:
"Kind of Magic"

Personally: I like the Video for Van Hagar....I mean Halen: "Where Eagles Fly." Nothing but great shots of F-15s (C and Es).

Grouchymedia.com has a good F-18 Vid for Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet ride" too.

Sigh. Kids these days.

Seal's Fly Like an Eagle was a cover. For bonus points, and no answers from anyone over 25, who did the original?

...released my senior year of high school. :)

I can't really say what music gets me excited to fly. I always did like United's Gershwin, "Rhapsody In Blue." I don't know why, but every time I hear it my spirits lift about work. Reminds me of being a kid, dreaming of being a pilot.

With only a discovery flight under my belt, not really an experienced opinion here but, every time I hear Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down a Dream" I just start day-dreaming about crusing through the clouds some day in the future.

Would admitting that I listened to "Ball Tongue" by Korn before my recurrent sim check this summer be a little shocking? :)

I'm looking at all the songs people listen to in order to get pumped up before they fly, and I'm thinking to myself, um, am I the only one who really doesn't listen to a particular song and just listens to whatever is playing on the radio or in my CD when I'm driving to the airport?

Some old Operation Ivy or Bad Religion. Some old punk, stuff I used to listen to back in the day gets me hyped to fly. I agree this soft stuff dosent do it anything that references airplanes, wings, soaring, is kinda nerdy to listen to while flying.

BTW Boys to Men are you •ting me!
