Flying Magazines Get ANOTHER New Editor

I do have to admit that one of the last Flying Mag's I've read is when JC's very own E_Dawg was featured.

Sure it is. "I learned about flying from that." That and the aircraft reviews are the only reasons why I read the magazine. The other stuff is just "well, I'm sitting here on the throne with nothing to do, I guess I'll read this."

The magazines, by default, are writing about and advertising new equipment that is not attainable by the masses. Nor are they attainable for the average flight school. It is getting near impossible in my area to find a good HP plane to rent.

For me, FLYING mag lost credibility with L Wallance. The last straw was her article about how "great" GIA was. I'm not big on J Mac either.

Good points. I think AOPA has gone down this path, too.
