Flying in sandals.. Opinion?

Nope! I couldn't tell you a damned thing about what is "in" in fashion. Couldn't care less. I wear what's timeless, not trendy. That's why all the anti-pleats hipsters make me laugh.

Eh, timeless doesn't apply to clothing. I'm pretty metro though... :) I think @Boris Badenov is going to be pretty upset that I flew at Flight Express wearing purple/pink/sky blue Express MX shirts and fitted jeans...

I wear flip flops whenever my lazy ass(you can totally say ass on here) can get away with it. But not when I'm flying, solely(HA! GET IT? Yeah, you get it) because they feel too loose and I've had them stick to the pedals or areas under the panel for a second here and there. I know a pilot who popped a tire on a 182 due to his flip flops, no thanks. Barefoot though, that feels interesting.

I'm on the "what if you have to get out?" side of things. I hate flip-flops,Crocs, or sandals anywhere outside of the beach or pool. I especially hate the sound of flip-flops thwacking through the airport as people run for flights.

Hey, it's not my fault when the gates get changed at the last minute or you have to run though the entire terminal to change gates for a connecting flight with 2 minutes to spare!!
