Hey guys, just a quick question. How hard is it to get a job in say like Australia. I don't really know how the whole foreign licenses thing works. I know its a very open ended question but just wondering the basics.

Australia is hard to get a job.

Alot of contract companies (PARC, IASCO, IAC, Rishworth, Hawaiian Aviation) have alot of the quals for various contracts posted. (Most common for US pilots to fly in the expatriot environment)

Companies like Cathay and Emirates hire foreigners, but we have people that work there that peruse this board, so I'll let them answer that.

To live and work like a local.....In the EU under the JAA format or anywhere else...it's quite varied...
