I do not know if this is the same program that was broadcast before or not.

Scheduled for the evening of May 25 and the afternoon of May 27 on PBS.

Very compelling show.

I flew with one of the former CJC pilots interviewed in the show. Real deal, all the way.

If you're looking to get plugged in and understand the seedy underbelly of our business, this is a great angle on certain aspects of it.

AGREED! He is one of the most stand-up young men I've ever met and had the pleasure of flying with. I wish him well in his career and life. :clap:

Thanks, Charlie. I was in touch with him at the time of the show. I hope the next chapter of his life brings him success and happiness. :bandit:

He's the redheaded guy. Still in the biz. Kicking ass and greasing landings with an incredibly high level of technical capability and precision as always, I'm sure.

Taught me a damned lot, that guy.
 
It was good show and got some of the facts out there. I loved how the interviewer wouldn't let the RAA idiot dodge items and stuck him pretty good when he did try.

I wish mainstream media would pick up on this show.

You and me both! Never happen though- not when people are more concerned with watching reality TV than giving a #*@) at who is flying their kids to Disneyland...
 
Watched the show tonight (TiVo'd) and indeed, it was the same one that had run before. However, even at that, I couldn't stop watching. It just takes your breath away when what you know in your heart is quantified in living color on the television screen. It was so sad at so many levels.
 
I watched it yesterday with my wife, who knows nothing about aviation. She asked me, if it is so bad, why do people work for them (regionals)?
 
Because crashpads and working conditions are not quite as miserable as the show makes it sound! At least not as far as I can tell and I work for Colgan Air.
 
Really? Ill send you email after email of some of your fellow coworkers who think differently. Just because you have an arrangement that works for you does not mean the person sitting next to you has an ideal setup. Remember we are 53,000 strong not 1.
