Flying at the Aviator

Hey everyone! Things are going great up here at Colgan. The only bad thing is that we only get three days off in 5 weeks. Jon and I are going to MCO for the Sim on July 8th. I think that flying 121 is going to be great. We've been doing classes on icing. Very interesting stuff. Understanding the effects of icing on wing stalls and tail stalls, is pretty cool. The recovery techniques are opposite of each other so determining the type of stall induced by icing is crucial. Learning Hold over times and Types of di-icing and anti-icing is cool also.

Gotta Go. Hope all is well with everyone, and good luck.

James,
Congrats!!! don't if you remember me or not...I'm the military (B-52) guy that was there feb/mar. I just retired and got picked up by XJT. could not have did it without your help...thanks:nana2:

James is going to be on Colgan's only Cessna 172 since he is the Sr. Citizen here ;)

Since he is now a broke Colgan pilot someone will need to buy him some cases of Ensure.

good, im still on reserve now. Am in CLE but will be driving down to Houston tomorrow (July1st). I start back up on reserve in IAH on the 3rd of July.

I am kinda excited about being in IAH. I hope to fly more. So far ive racked up about 90hrs, about 45hrs a month. From what i see, I hope to hold a line by October.

Ivan
