Flt Center tours

I would love to take a tour of a local Ops center here in the SF bay area. I know Virgin is set up here and I think FDX has a center here.
Im curious if anyone has toured these or other ops centers? How can one get in touch with them with them?

There are some potential security issues involved with an airline letting someone take a tour of their dispatch center so I wouldn't expect to just go into Virgin HQ and have them walk you down there. That being said, if you email the airline using their "Contact Us" page and explain what you'd like to do, they might forward that along to the appropriate department head and he would get back to you. If you do get a tour, avoid asking any potentially confidential questions like "Where are you going to fly to next?" as that may make them suspect you are from a rival airline and are there to try and find out information about their business plan. Probably the best way to get a tour would be if you know someone already working in dispatch at the carrier and you can email them - then they can set things up with their boss. I don't have any current contacts at VA myself though.
