Flonase?

Had an annual physical this morning with my regular doctor. I do feel congested at times and he recommended going on Flonase or something similar for a short time to see if it helps any.

Given that this is steroidal, my question is - will it impact my FAA medical?

Flonase is an allowed medication. I would ask the prescribing physician what diagnosis they have made that required Flonase therapy? There is a decision tree if you are diagnosed with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) that suggests you take a status report to your AME at your next physical stating you have no side effects and are responding to treatment:

I know Claritin is ok... after a 24 hour ops period. Ive taken it for years depending on what part of the country I’m in.
