Just ordered Microsoft Flight Simulator from Amazon.com for $18.99(Not bad!). Now I need a yoke and rudder pedals. Any suggestions? Online? Store? I am looking at the latest King Catalog and they have a yoke for $130 and rudder pedals for $118. But I know these aviation supply houses are not cheap and I want to keep this as economical as possible. Got to save up for the CFII. Also, is anyone here looking to sell there set? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen them as low as $95 (yoke) and $101 for the pedals.

I have the ch yoke and the pro rudder pedals, by them used off of ebay but make sure they are operable first.

I would look on Amazon.com Marketplace. There are usually good deals on the CH Products Yoke & Pedals. I have the CH Yoke, but the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, which I prefer over the CH Pedals - a touch more expensive, but more realistic (relatively speaking).
Many will disagree, but I'm a big advocate of the pedals. I had a very tough time with real-life crosswind landings up until about 200 hours TT. So I bought the pedals and practiced all kindsa windy conditions in Flight Simulator. It helped me develop a clearer idea of what a X-wind landing should look like (putting the game on pause and looking at the airplane from the outside), what crossed controls should feel like, and overall improved my coordination and motor skills. My first real flight in brisk crosswinds (15 knots directly perpendicular to the runway) was baby bottom smooth, and I haven't had problems since.

You can do without the pedals. The yoke may be beneficial, but why not just use a joystick?
Flight Sim doesn't realistically simulate skidding and slipping so using rudder pedals with it may really screw you up when you fly in real life.

And if you don't have a game port hookup, you can get a game port to USB adapter at RadioShack for pretty cheap too.
Thanks guys for all the responses. I just spoke to my friend today who has a joystick and he will give it to me. At first I thought a joystick might not be good/realistic, but since it was suggested here, I think I'll try it. Plus it'll be like a Cub, or the new Liberty I believe that uses a stick.
