Flight schools

My CFI just finished up at ALLATPS and is now at my local FBO. He said it was a great experience and school, but had a significant wash out rate on some of the accelerated programs, and felt that up to CFI it was an ideal way of building hours and ME time quickly. Apparently most ratings after PPL are done in twins.

This is only one man's opinion....

You ought to try the forums below devoted to the individual programs such as ATP, Ari Ben, Skymates, Pan Am, etc. :D
well, see now.. that's what i was going to say...

if some of the new people would just look around the website & forums first before posting - some of these answers are smack dab in front of our face!! :):nana2:

of course, it goes to say that the folks posting in those forums are those who have or are attending there.

I try to avoid the lav, but I keep getting sucked in to argue with 15 year olds about political economy issues.

What political economy issues? Im 15 and I don't argue about that stuff.

I called ATP to get some infromation (not that it matters in five years) but the guy I talked to told me not to go to DCA becuase "he got F**** out of 60,000 bucks" I didnt even ask, he told me.

"The schools Doug accepts advertising from are good quality schools that aren't out to scam you"

I would disagree with that. It depends on what you mean by scam. I think FSA's direct track is a scam.

Just because he wants to screw you out of 60,000 bucks :sarcasm:

No, he probably does want your 60,000 (or 40,000 is more on target these days). The thing is, this guy probably went to DCA, spent 60k and THEN went to ATP and got his ratings.

Yeah, thats what I ment, thanks.

I visited DCA back in 2000 and the first thing they did was hand me a booklet, or prospectus, on the stock and revenue of the company. Times have changed.
