Flight Schools

I'm looking at going to ATP, Ari-Ben, or Flight Safety + any suggestions. I would ultimately like to do relief-aid or Christian missionary aviation. I have a Bachelor's degree and am looking at just getting started with a flying career. Any suggestions/comments regarding these 3 flight schools specifically or any others I should check out? Is Flight Safety worth the $$$? Is ATP??? How does Ari-Ben stand up - even at a cheaper price? I've also heard of SkyMates in Texas - any info appreciated!
Thanks,

I'm thinking that since becoming an airline pilot isn't your goal that you should skip the flight academies.
You could do all your ratings at an FBO for your type of flying and it would be hella cheaper.
The academies specialize in turning out airline pilots. So not sure there focus would be the same as yours.

I have also heard that most of the missionary groups want their pilots to have an A & P as well as their flight certs.

That is correct in that when you are out there alone in the jungle or whatever remote place you are in you have to be able to work on your own plane.

Yes, and quickly too. Every day that goes by you look better and better to your cannibal converts.

I would recommend looking for a community college that has a flight program too. One thing you wont want to be is 80k in debt to key bank and out in BFE. Wait, maybe you do have a plan there. Keep up the good work, sly.

Thanks for all the info guys, -

anyone know much more about Ari-Ben (Aviator) in Florida - they have a lot of multi-time.... and not too bad a price -I like that it leaves me doors open other than just missions - such as charter, maybe corporate someday...
