Flight School

aww come on guys dont start that stuff, im really excited about this, and you guys talkin makes me want to drive 2hrs to go sit at the airport borders.

Most schools will require you to have an M1 Visa, which is what our school requires. Check out our website: www.usflightacademy.com . We have a couple of students that are from Trinidad and Tobago as well.

Exactly, non degree program flight schools you would need an M-1, Degree programs are generally F-1s. Exceptions, as I said before, there were 8 non degree program schools under the old J visa program that were granted authority to issue F-1 visas. My old school Aviator was one of those. They now have a degree program (Aviator College) and issue F-1 visas under that program.

There are ways to work under the M-1 while in school, but a lot of paperwork and USCIS bureaucracy is involved so wether it's worth it is questionable.
