Being available 24/7 either in the office or by phone, flight schedulers have the privilege of being the face and voice of Western Airways to both customers and internal departments. Flight Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that trips are being quoted, booked, and executed at the highest level of customer service and safety. </div><div><strong><br /></strong></div><strong>Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong><br /><ul><li>Quoting and Scheduling Charter Flights</li><li>Assigning and Briefing Crews to Flights </li><li>Trip Management (Setting up FBO services, rental cars, hotels, catering, etc.)</li><li>Coordinating International Paperwork and Clearances (Permits/Customs)</li><li>Ensuring All Flights That Are Released Are Legal and Safe</li><li>Flight Following</li><li>Marketing Charter Flights</li></ul><div><strong>Schedule:</strong></div><div> </div>Flight Coordinators are normally scheduled Monday – Friday between 8AM-5PM. However, because Western Airways operates 24/7, flight coordinators will normally rotate shifts that require them to be on call for nights and weekends. Additional hours may be required to work based upon flight schedule and need. <br />
