Flight Safety

Yea its sim only.

Good, thanks!

PS...they do train in the actual airplane for people who don't meet certain requirements for a simulator only type rating. You have to bring your own airplane.

You are not required to bring your own headset, but are welcome to use your own if you wish.

What aircraft are you training for?

Do you actually have your guys wear a headset in the sim? And do you actually simulate ALL radio communications? I've only done company sim, but we don't wear headsets in the sim (or if we do it's very rare) and only do select radio communications for approach vectoring and what not.

Just wondering what FSI does.

Well, I hope I don't need it because I flew down today and left without it. Training starts tomorrow ;].

No man, you're good to go. They mostly likely won't have you use headsets in the sim, it's just not necessary. Congrats man and have fun!

Say ello to the worlds newest Airline Transport Pilot!

Passed my BE300 single pilot type at Flight Safety on Sunday night and got my ATP with it.

Phew, that's a good one to have done!!!!
