The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range will be as follow: $48,866 - $83,988. This is a hybrid role (meaning, 3 times weekly from the office) out of any location listed below. Please provide your preferred location in your application. </p> <p>• Teterboro, NJ • Chicago, IL • St. Louis, MO • Dallas, TX • Houston, TX • West Palm Beach, FL</p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong> </div><div><ul> <li>Must have an FAA Aircraft Dispatch License</li> <li>Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)</li> <li>Ability to use Microsoft Office systems.</li> <li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li> <li>Knowledge in research and development of operating policies and procedures</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><ul> <li>Responds to requests of FMR, charter department and flight crew for international trip support</li> <li>Ensuring aircraft, crew and passengers have all necessary equipment, documents, visas and any other entry requirements by concerned states/regions</li> <li>Flight planning and filing with all applicable ATC agencies, uplink to aircraft, with PICs concurrence</li> <li>Collating/reviewing/delivering WX, NOTAMs, PIREPs, Enroute and Airport Info to flight crew in accordance with FOM Ops Specs</li> <li>Ensures that all airports and routes are operationally suitable and meet company requirements</li> <li>Setting up ground handling, in accordance with client preference, appropriate facilities (weight restrictions, parking, aircraft servicing, hangarage, etc.), and economical and efficient ground handling</li> <li>Obtaining all overflight/landing permits, and slots, in accordance with all regulations in an expeditious and economic manner</li> <li>Flight following/monitoring/timely relay of movement messages</li> <li>Stays current on all applicable NOTAMs, FARs, AIPs, ICAO Recommended Practices and Procedures and the regulations of each State of operations</li> <li>Maintains knowledge of aeronautical navigation systems, charts, airspace, air traffic control, aircraft performance, AFM, MEL, aeronautical communications, and publications and maintains a current operations library</li> <li>Coordinate trips with all relevant authorities, i.e. customs, immigrations, airport and civil/military authorities</li> <li>Ensuring fuel is being arranged and fuel releases relayed in a timely manner</li> <li>Preparing/disseminating complete flight briefings for flight crew</li> <li>Participates in the Safety Management System</li> <li>Advises Senior International Planner, ops/flight control manager, charter department, flight crew of international flight operations restrictions</li> <li>Assists in maintaining international compliance with fleet updates and monthly reports to EASA, Eurocontrol, NavCanada, SENEAM and all other concerned foreign agencies</li> <li>Authority to exercise Operational Control/Flight Control of Company flight operations (Operational Control Manager).</li> <li>Assumes any additional duties delegated by the Senior Dispatcher/Director of Operations</li> <li>Any other duties that may be assigned.</li> <li>Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.</li> </ul> </div></div><div><div><strong>Desired Characteristics</strong> </div><div><ul> <li>College degree is preferred</li> <li>Has a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner to deliver the best experience to customers and colleagues</li> <li>Quality driven with a passion for excellence to represent Jet Aviation as a Brand Ambassador</li> <li>Demonstration and commitment to Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><strong>Physical Demands</strong> </div><div><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
