Red Wing Aviation Bay City, Wisconsin:<BR /><strong>Job Profile</strong> <p>The Flight Operations Analyst supports Red Wing Aviation by serving as a subject matter expert on ALL operational matters. Working in the Operation Control Center (OCC), they will communicate closely with other departments and flight crew to ensure flights operate smoothly and safely. The OCC is the epicenter for Red Wing Aviation and the Flight Operations Analyst must be able to manage and provide accurate solutions in a fast-pace environment. </p> <p> </p> <p>With over 30 years of operational expertise, Red Wing Aviation (RWA) is one of the largest North American private aviation operators.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have an aggressive growth plan – expanding the fleet and adding talented employees across the organization, spanning all aircraft categories and aviation services.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Flight Operations Analyst Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Approve and coordinate flight requests</li> <li> Responsible for full fleet optimization</li> <li> Capture, log, and verify crew duty information</li> <li> Maintains the TSA No Fly List (NFL)</li> <li> Perform full Risk Assessment and review of technical feasibility</li> <li> Runs Flight Plans for all trips</li> <li> Checks performance to advise on limitations and suggest alternatives if applicable</li> <li> Checks NOTAMs</li> <li> Checks availability of FBO/Handling services</li> <li> Checks Customs availability</li> <li> Checks Parking availability</li> <li> Check for Permit/Slot/PPR requirements</li> <li> Assess initial fleet availability</li> <li> Airport Ops Hours</li> <li> Monitor duty limitations</li> <li> Communicate flight limitations & and suggest alternatives</li> <li> Respond to internal OCC inquiries regarding Weather, Performance </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Understand and advise on the following:</p> <ul> <li> Weather</li> <li> NOTAMs</li> <li> TFRs</li> <li> Aircraft Performance & Feasibility</li> <li> Alternate Airports</li> <li> FAA Regulations</li> <li> Special Event Management</li> <li> Military and Zulu times</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li> High school diploma or GED. College degree preferred</li> <li> Dispatcher certificate or pilot license preferred</li> <li> Knowledge of Part 135 regulations (rest and flight time limitations)</li> <li> 2 years of relevant aviation experience preferred</li> <li> Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment</li> <li> Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office, ability to learn new programs quickly</li> <li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li> Ability to analyze complex situations, problem solve, and effectively prioritize tasks</li> <li> Highly detail oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills</li> <li> Dynamic and energetic spirit coupled with a strong desire to create and win</li> <li> Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment</li> <li> Some International travel may be needed and candidate must meet all requirements to travel to different countries</li> </ul>
