I agree with wheelsup. I know I had to sign some lengthy contract when I got my United comp ID not to share company info. This may make me sound like a jerk but I dont even tell loads to nonrevs calling over the phone. I refer them to the listing number or have them come to the counter so I can see their ID.

If there is a way to make flight load info available here secure (ie. separate login for airline personel) it might just work.

Eh...if they make this forum only avail to airline pilots on the website I don't see the problem and they couldn't be caught by airline mngmt and then it truly would be a "secret society". Regular peons like myself or "lurkers" wouldn't have access to the forum because we couldn't see it and it would be airline people eyes only. Kinda like the moderators forum. Do you ever see that forum or have access to it? Did you even know it was in existance ? Well it is and I know certain people who know aobut it and have access to it,they have admin or moderator as a title.

soooooo what you're saying is if no one knows about it, how will it be advertised as a "service"? How would one know to "sign up" for this feature? Hmmm? It will be mentioned, I'm sure, somewhere. In fact, it already has been (right here) ;)!

I know someone who can check loads on US Air flights. This person would never post them on a forum, regardless of how "secretive" it is. They might be inclined to PM them, however. I would have to talk to this person first, however.

Well to be in a "secret society" you have to be invited or it's not "secret"! If they go my route people may talk but who cares they'd never see the forum unless invited!

We all have a general idea of who is an employee and who is not. In fact, we could do what interline travel does, which is to have each member wishing to gain access fax in a copy of their ID complete with username.

there is.. that's why i'll start talking to doug about it this weekend...

I think it would have to be word of mouth only... that way, those who invite are responsibile for who they choose to trust to be in this "secret society" right??

Also, don't you find it weird that for some E170 flights the # of "actual seats available" is instead the # of "authorized seats available."

the loads sometimes seem way out of wack. have you ever noticed a difference between the 1-800 phone number loads and the hub's loads? I've listed on the hub but the 800 number won't show any non rev's, and vice versa.

Apparently they are "upgrading the server" to make it faster, but they've said they were doing that for the past month. Right now it's just annoying to log in, wait 15 minutes, enter your travel card number, wait 15 minutes, search for a flight, wait 15 minutes, you get the picture. I hate using the non rev number but sometimes its just the only way to do it...

Any Skywest peeps willing to help out?

Need to get my wife somewhere where we don't fly to on Thursday and looking at United or USAir ID90's... but don't want to send her off unless the loads look good.
