We are looking for an energetic service-oriented flight instructor to instruct in our operation. We use the Paperless 141 system to schedule airplanes and clients, track progress, accounting, and aircraft maintenance. We are currently a part 61 operation but are renewing our 141 certificate.
We currently rent 6 aircraft (C150, C172, PA28-140, Ercoupe, and Piper Apache) and have been in business since 2003, and historically certify about 20 private or sport pilots each year, and about 15 other certificates and ratings such as IR,ME, COMM, CFI and ATP. Chickasha weather offers about 340 flying days per year, even though many of those are windy days.
Many of our clients learn to fly then purchase their own aircraft resulting in opportunities to fly many aircraft types and models. We offer opportunities to add additional ratings such as CFI-I, MEI and A&P, and time on light twins.
We hold ground schools in our classroom on a nearly continuous basis.
We will provide a list of clients and expect the flight instructor to make contacts and schedule students. During slow times we will pay for other services such as washing airplanes or mechanics helpers.
We pay currently $39 per flight hour Billed, $19/hr ground, and $9.hour for other services, and offer 40% off aircraft rental for active CFI’s.
