they should add, Must tolerate the smell of warm cow poop and swarming flies in the summer.
 
Weird minimums...who has 400 hours and 100 dual? Chances are if you have 100 dual you have a bit more time than 400.

That is pretty close to what I had at that time. I got my Commercial at 250 (part 61) was a little under 300 when I got my CFI and CFII and then started instructing full time while I picked up the multi.

Actually, I just went back and pulled out the numbers from my e-logbook. I hit 100 dual at 430 total time.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but I just don't know too many 400 hour guys with 100 dual already. Kudos to you sir
 
New instructors have to start somewhere. Part 61 requires 250TT for the commercial. CFI training is mostly bookwork and maybe 10-15 hours flying. 265TT isn't hard to accomplish. I have known of lower time CFIs out of Part 141 schools.

Conclusion. There are tons of CFIs that started at 300 hours or less.
 
I'm about 415TT and 200 Dual... Oh and 10 for 10 on checkrides, applying for my gold seal today! :cool:
 
Du Bois is a very legit and busy flight school. I don't know if they're still hiring but it would be a good gig. I work at KCNO, they're good people over there.
