I just got a new flight instructor who is in the process (due to a medical condition) of getting a new medical, and as of right now as I understand it, he doesn't have one.
Is there some regulation I'm not thinking of that would allow him to do that? He's going to be teaching me for my CFI license, and the school (UND) wants me to sign a legal document stating that I would be PIC for all flights (haven't seen it, or signed it yet).
School said this is standard stuff, but it just seems fishy/weird to me. Any thoughts/opinions?
