ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is responsible for checking compliance and legality prior to each and every flight for aircraft on certificate and issuing flight release.
- Monitors the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to final destination (flight following)
- Builds and monitors trip itineraries and flight releases for crew and clients
- Releases flights in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensures all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight
- Identifies, anticipates, and takes corrective action to minimize actual/potential delays due to weather, scheduling, operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues
- Schedule crew airline travel and hotels as needed
- Arrange passenger or owner catering, transportation and other special requests on an as needed basis.
- Monitor duty time limitations and currency requirements for flight crews to ensure compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Participates in ops 24/7 coverage and crew airport transport on an as needed basis
- Performs other related duties as requested.
