There was a memo stating he is now Manager of Training.
Does that make Adam CP?

I'm pretty interested in FLX. I feel confident about flying Apchs. but a little sim time wouldn't hurt anybody. But if I get offered to come down for an "interview", what does it mainly consist of? I've heard that when you get there, that training is the interview and when you pass your checkride, you are hired. My main concern would be that if the previous is true and you wash out or what have you say before the checkride, would you still have to check the box "yes" if you were filling out an application that asked if "you failed a checkride, training, ioe, line check, etc"? Also, would that be considered an FAA bust on your record as well?

So at what point does the interview end and training begin? Or am I missing something here?
You're in training and being interviewed at the same time. When the interview ends is when you pass your checkride and are hired.
Flight Express isn't the only company to do interview/training like that, and every one I've worked for was a great place to work, and the people were (as a group) awesome. There are always bad apples, but this hiring method seems to do well.
I actually kind of liked it. If you study and keep your nose clean you are good to go
Jesse, I'd be careful about recommending "shooting the gap". One must realize the size of said gap and whether you can do it visually. Just saying.I showed up the first day wearing shorts and a polo shirt. Its Florida and part 135 freight. I did feel a bit out of place in the room full of suits but I was myself and that's what mattered.
Like everyone says, its a great place to work. They aren't pushy when it comes to flying broken stuff or flying into bad weather. That doesn't mean sit on the ground while storms are rolling in. Bust ass to try and beat them out, deviate around, find the gap. Tell them what you can do, not what you cannot.
Its a ton of fun and teaches some great skills.
What is "TMAAT"?
That's what I thought. Thanks, bro.tell me about a time when...??
Just got an email for the Oct. 4 class. Anybody else? I saw on Austin Collins site a while ago, there was a lot of information on 135 flying, etc. but I looked pretty recently and it was gone. Just had his "Day in the life" stuff on there. How else can I possibly prepare if/when I go done for training?
