I am still looking for Current IFR pilots who meet IFR 135 mins. Starting a Jan. 4th class in Orlando. Take a look at our website and send in your resume. Not 100% sure of the bases but we are in the process of opening new bases. OMA STP and a few others, plus some of our currents bases will be open as well.

Thanks

I searched for info on FLX but only a few returns.
I meet the reqs but would like more info, specifically operating hours, (I fly in the so. Fla. area @ night and usually hear FLX on the radio).

It all depends on the run. Runs for the most part are picked through seniority, which you determine at the end of ground school based upon your final exam score. Then after flight training you are put on the line and go from there. Our dispatch office is open from around 0900Z on Monday morning until around 1000Z on Saturday morning. Many of our runs are 5 days a week and allows you to be home every night. The only times that I have been stuck away from home were getting caught in a blizzard in February, over-nighting for an aircraft swap, and getting called into work early and getting a day room in another city.

EDIT: If you have any additional questions and you don't want to make them public, feel free to PM me.

Thanks for info braunpilot.
I have to figure out how to PM on this site, when I do, I will send a message to you!

I noticed that the website stated that you will start out in the 210. How often is your company looking for Baron pilots? I fly a BE58p now and am starting to look for a better position.

Everyone starts in the 210. Most of the Baron runs have gone away, although it sounds like there are some that are going to be the "spare" planes for the new runs. Basically, don't come to FLX expecting to fly a Baron.

Day 1 is a sim check, as long as you are up to snuff on commercial instrument skill it should be a breeze. Ground School is 7 days covering the usual 135 stuff. SOPs, airplane systems, HAZMAT. Flight training last two days after ground school. After that, you hit the line.

So what is the outlook for Flight Express? Are they running any classes this summer? Where did the last few new hires end up?
