The successful candidate must be highly motivated, extremely organized and must be a<br /><br />team-oriented individual, capable of providing first class customer service and care.<br /><br />Air Journey is looking for a Flight Support Specialist for our office in Jupiter, FL. We are searching for someone who is seasoned in the Private Aviation industry to deliver a true experience for each flight. Duties include weather tracking, flight following, flight crew and FBO communication, as well as prepare itineraries, international flight plans and logistics for members.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong><br /><ul><li>Coordinate with and support flight crews in the planning of predominantly international with some domestic flights.</li><li>Arrange for and coordinate airport arrivals, FBO services and aircraft handling.</li><li>Ensure required trip sheets and all other trip documents are sent to and received by appropriate departments.</li><li>Obtain and arrange for international permits, overflight permits, customs, immigration, and eAPIS manifests for all flights as required.</li><li>Ensure that the appropriate fuel discount program is used at each destination, on a per trip basis.</li><li>Take initiative and help others with their work in times of rush</li><li>on-call after hours availability in rotation with colleagues, including weekends and holidays as needed.</li></ul>
