Flight Deck Photography

Minuteman

“Dongola”
It's been a month since the buttlord "journalist" published unlicensed copies of photos shot from the flight deck and breathlessly reported it as 14 CFR violations. The community responded negatively, the publication's Facebook page was mercilessly given 1-star ratings until they removed the feature, and his personal social media presence was smeared with vitriol and poor spelling.

So, anecdotes; who's been affected by this wise guy's run at fifteen minutes. Have guidance or policies at your operation changed? Has there been any credence given to this ding-dong's claim?

(Specific names omitted because lol.)

At first. I thought it said "pornography" and some crew had to undergo sensitivity training. My bad.

Nothing has changed here. Still can't do it.

All the stories about crews getting in trouble due to picture taking after the article came out that I've heard about were doing something beyond just taking pictures to get burned.
