Amerijet International, Inc Miami, Florida:<BR /><link /> <link /> <div> <p><strong><span>POSITION SUMMARY:</span></strong></p><p><strong><span></span></strong></p><div><ul><li><span>Develops and coordinates activities at Export area to select freight for scheduled flight according to company priorities and operational requirements, and to process all the necessary documentation by performing the following duties personally or through other employees.</span></li></ul></div><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Job Responsibilities:</span></strong></p><p><strong><span></span></strong></p><p><span>- - Verifies the routing of the flight he/she will be working on.</span></p><p><span> - Reviews the pallet inventory to ensure accuracy.</span></p><p><span> - Coordinates with the Warehouse Supervisor preparation of cargo to obtain optimum utilization of plane capacity, ensuring cargo is built by priority, splits are minimized, weight of pallets meet requirements, any space requirement for oversize freight is met.</span></p><p><span> - Reconciles pallet inventory to make sure the priority is being complied with and all palletized cargo is scanned.</span></p><p><span> - Advises the Traffic Agent to print the manifest to begin the preparation of documents.</span></p><p><span> - Ensures the accurate weight of every single pallet is entered in the system, correcting when necessary.</span></p><p><span> - Prints the pallets and weights report (AW 2518). Documents designated pallets that could be bumped and sent to Load Control area.</span></p><p><span> - Submit load sheets to the appropriate distribution lists and out stations.</span></p><p><span> - Closes the flight as soon as the information is recorded from Load Control area.</span></p><p><span> - Ensures all the necessary documentation is processed and completed at least two hours prior to flight departure.</span></p><p><span> - Advises interested people of on hold shipments, split shipments, and mixed pallets to ensure follow-up</span></p><p><span> - Informs the Export Manager about all the details in relation to the flight preparation and closing.</span></p><p><span> - Load planning.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Performance Standards/Measurements:</span></strong></p><p><span>&bull; All documents prepared 2 hours prior to flight departure.</span></p><p><span>&bull; All pallet weights are accurate with zero discrepancies.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Ensure that only on hold cargo is not transported to a destination.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Company attendance policy.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Always exhibits a professional demeanor.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Works effectively with minimal supervision.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Interacts effectively with coworkers.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Demonstrates ability and resourcefulness.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Proactive and timely in problem-solving.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Recognizes priorities and organizes workload accordingly.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Maintains communications with all involved parties.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Ensure that work produced is accurate, thorough, and neat.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Maintains accurate and concise records/files.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Required Qualifications, Skills, Education and Experience:</span></strong></p><p><strong><span></span></strong></p><p><span>&bull; High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).</span></p><p><span>&bull; Computer literacy and numerical aptitude. Skilled in utilizing office equipment (copier, fax, computer, etc.). Minimum two (2) years&rsquo; experience using MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word. Basic knowledge of using excel and working withs spreadsheets is a must.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Excellent organizational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</span></p><p><span>&bull; Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
