You&#8217;ll have the opportunity to join a team that has an incredible depth of knowledge as well as the drive to deliver service excellence to our clients across a wide variety of sectors from the military to private, ultra-high net worth individuals.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>We have immediate opportunities for Flight Coordinator in our Waukegan, IL office.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Job Description</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The primary objective for this position is to represent Gama Aviation in a positive and professional manner by supporting managed aircraft clients, crews and administrative assistants. The Flight Coordinator will coordinate and support both domestic and international flight planning and operations on long range aircraft while ensuring unsurpassed service and uncompromising safety to both our external and internal clients.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Primary duties include:</div><div>&nbsp;</div>? Provide on demand trip support services which includes, problem analysis, diagnoses and<br />resolution.<br />? Provide domestic and international flight planning and logistical support to crew members.<br />? Provide concierge support to VIP clients as needed.<br />? Provide enhanced flight following of aircraft movements to each client.<br />? Ensure that the emergency response plan is followed as appropriate.<br />? Analyze and respond appropriately to potential issues such as mechanical or weather related that<br />may result in delays or trip interruptions.<br />? Communicate aircraft maintenance status to each client and coordinate backup lift when client<br />aircraft is not available.<br />? Update and ensure Flight Operating System (FOS) has current data for aircraft status from<br />maintenance, crew availability and confirmed trips.<br />? Support scheduling and dispatch team for all Gama clients/crew as needed.<br />? Work cross functionally with both internal and external customers to coordinate accurate delivery<br />of information.<br />? Provide effective and efficient methods to reduce costs in international trip handling services.<br />? Coordinate maintenance planning, crew training, and HR services with the appropriate<br /><div>departments.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Job Requirements:</div><div>&nbsp;</div>? Bachelor&#8217;s degree is preferred.<br />? Experience with Flight Operating System (FOS).<br />? FAA dispatch certificate is preferred.<br />? Be able to provide exceptional customer service.<br />? Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.<br />? Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)<br />? Must be able to comprehend basic weather forecasts in order to communicate to crew members.<br />? Must be able to multitask, have great attention to detail and be knowledgeable in managing<br />conflict resolution.<br />? Be able to work well within a team environment; make immediate decisions for clients and pilot/crew member needs.
