Job Title: Flight Coordinator

Location: New Castle, Delaware Airport

Job Description:

Under general direction, the Flight Coordinator performs administrative tasks and ensures
an efficient and safe aviation operation for all internal and external customers. This will
be accomplished by performing the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary liaison between flight crew and all other departments for flight
    assignments, flight planning, and flight following
  • Answer crew phone calls
  • Coordinate and schedule crew non-flight schedule in conjunction with base Chief
    Pilots (Vacations & Off days, floating crew-members, ground- and flight-training,
  • Coordinate and schedule training, currency flights, and activities
  • Will handle pilot accommodations by scheduling hotel reservations/rental cars/ground service.
  • Negotiate for best pricing on hotels, etc
  • Update and manage contract-fuel cards
  • Conduct logistics for charter and member trips
  • Coordinate FBO assignments as needed
  • Coordinate with crew to plan efficient technical stops, customs clearances and
    aircraft logistics (de-icing, hangar rentals, etc.)
  • Establish contact with appropriate parties in the event of unscheduled events or itinerary changes

  • 2+ years of flight coordination experience
  • 1 year of office administration experience
  • Dispatcher license highly preferred
  • Strong administrative background
  • Must be able to use Microsoft programs efficiently
