Georgia Jet Lawrenceville, Georgia:<BR /><p> POSITION SUMMARY<br /><br />The Flight Coordination Manager will be responsible for the overall efficiency and utilization of our crew members and aircraft to maintain a successful operation. This role will partner with the Sales and Flight Departments to ensure crew members sustain their currency in the aircraft they are type rated in. The position will also work closely with all departments.</p><p><br />DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Assign crew members to aircraft to maximize trip coverage. </li><li>Request travel through the internal systems, as we arrange for all flight crew members positioning to an aircraft, traveling home from aircraft, and all transitions between aircraft while on duty. </li><li>Assign duty times for all pilots assigned. Assesses demand for upcoming day and provides recommendations for crew duty times based on geographic factors, cabin type, and departure time demand. </li><li>Ensure that all crew member duty times are scheduled in accordance with FAR 135 and SOP’s. </li><li>Coordinate with Chief Pilot on travel for training check rides and providing a training aircraft within the fleet demand constraints.</li><li>Work closely with the Charter Sales Manager on assigning trips and building reposition (repo) legs for current day and future trips.</li><li>Communicate changes to appropriate operation departments.</li><li>Escalate flight concerns to the Flight Department Managers when necessary– Assist the sales departments when necessary.</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.</li></ul><p><br />EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE</p><p><br />Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations is preferred. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the aptitude to learn customized company software programs.<br /></p> <div> </div>
