Five part Airnet documentary

Very well done! I really loved the overall color and feel of the film.

I am watching his dupage videos now.

I honestly can't watch any of thoughs airnet videos that are online. I just can't make it through them without getting a knot in my throat. That place meant sooo much to me and i really grew up a ton in the three years i was there. I'll never forget it.

I was going to watch it, until the partisan rant which happened 15 seconds into the first video. I wanted to learn about Airnet, not how "george bush and his wall street pals raped and pillaged america" (real quote). Come on newbie film maker...really? Next let's make a documentary about Pillsbury and start it with a rant about how Obama is a terrorist.

Yeah I'm sure 50% of the country has their fist in the air chanting "yes we can" to that film maker's little rant, I'm sure they'll post here. I'm not part of that 50%. The only thing I can do is not contribute to his hit counter by not clicking on the rest of the links, and that's exactly what I'll do.

You just couldn't ignore it and watch the documentary for what it was?

Yeah man, props for the video.

Getting furloughed from Airnet was the worst time I've had in a while.

But on a film-making note, these guys have a point. If you're going to give nothing more than a political opinion, do it at the end.

I had a pretty good eye roll at that quote too.

It's pretty cool to see what the rampers thought of Airnet. I didn't know some of those guys had been there for years. Watching those videos made me miss the city meet sort. All the hustle and bustle was really fun and made the job really enjoyable. The guy also made a few videos about the move to DuPage. Look to the right of the screen where it has "other videos by this user".

To say this was a special company would be a gross understatement. I'll never forget Airnet or the freight dogs there and I promise I'll get a bit teary-eyed if the door ever gets locked.

Very sad. I actually remember my first flight as a PPL was taking two friends from OSU to Rick in an Archer, just to take a class tour of AirNet for one of my aviation management classes. I never worked there, but it's more of a hometown airline than Skybus ever was.

Very well produced, and of course poignant. Guy does seem to wax a little poetic like he's curing cancer or something, though.

I thought it was a great documentary. Don't really have any opinion on the opinions expressed.

I was just watching it for entertainment, and I think the guy that made it has some talent.

Now you have to settle for Netjets

I dont agree with very much of the guys politics, but it was fairly entertaining.

I guess its Bush's fault the banks are going electronic... I always thought Al Gore invented the internet. oh well, live and learn huh?
