My dad and I went for the $100 ($160) stack of pancakes! It was a lot of fun and it was a beautiful day to fly. Maybe he has confidence in my flying skills now!

Congrats! Ironically when I was instructing at ASH I would often fly up to SFM for breakfast. The Midfield is good too though.

you guys should get down down to hampton, that cafe is sweet, and the field is pretty wicked too!

(while im thinking of it, in sugarloaf you can walk to the bar/hotel, they were trying to sell us on staying for the strippers on friday night, but it just didn't fit the schedule)

I've never landed at a short+soft field like that, I probably would wanna go with an instructor first before I go solo. The shortest runway I've ever been to is Biddeford (B19)

How was the food @ midfield...greasy as ever I suppose?

It was always a good place to grab a bite to eat and yes, lots of oldies up @ SFM. Great pics!

I got pancakes so I wouldn't have any chance of losing my breakfast on the way back. What my dad got was really greasy (some type of omlette), but he didn't lose it on the way back (thankfully).
