Speaking of fishing, I miss it, I haven't been in months. Not likely to have much time for it any time soon either. I have been turning down guide trips left and right with all this checkride/ having a baby activity. I am starting to think I should pick some up, not for the money, but just to get out on the water.

For the most part the people that pay are the Park City tourist set. Home boys get to go for free, but it isn't the "fully Guided" trip.

Basically all that means is:

paying customer: I wipes their backsides. Carry all the gear, tie all their knots, fix every tangle, clear every snag, net their fish, unhook, take pictures, watch after their kids, and listen to their life story, pick up and drop off, drive all over the place.

Home boys: show em the ropes, give em some flies, point them in the right direction, and watch what they are doing right/wrong, correct as needed.

Seriously it isn't about being a good fisherman. Just like being an excellent pilot doesn't necessarily mean that you are a good instructor.

All it really takes is a good knowledge of the river, the fish, and the bugs, and mountains of patience and creative teaching. Peeps don't understand what I'm tellin em, I tells it a different way.

So far only two people have gone home without catching anything in the last 8 years. They were wankers.
 
All I need are the current flies. I can cast and do the rest. I just went on SAturday, not fly fishing ice off jigging.

FABARM FP6 12 gauge, it will be brought out for "cleaning" every time a boy comes to visit.

My father in law brought out his M1 the first time I came over, I got the hint that if she wasn't home on time, consequences.
 
Aww, she is really beautiful! And I mean that too, cause some people do have ugly babies. So I wouldn't say it if it weren't true! When do I get to babysit? When it's like 3 am and you've both had it, call me and I'll come over!!
