First day of IOE.

Haven't posted in a while due to the fact that I've been in training, but............. Someone decided it was a good idea to let me fly a jet full of people today!!!!! Other than the fact that I can't figure out how ACARS works, and that I COMPLETELY destroyed my taxi instructions @ DEN, I guess it turned out alright! On cloud-9!

1st IOE flight I was so far behind the airplane, poor captain might've well as been single pilot.
Each flight got better and better and more comfortable, so enjoy and have fun and hopefully you have a helpful insightful IOE captain.

Yeah, that one lady on ramp in DEN.... she stresses everybody out
And her husband? Boyfriend? Person that trained her? They are only slightly different. She stresses when there's one plane pushed back. He has to have the mic keyed to think.

"Ahhhhh. Okkkkkk gguuuyys. Here's the plan. 1291? 1291? 1291 ARE YOU READY TO TAXI?! And break, ok, ah, Skywest I want you behind trans states, and break, ah, he's waiting on republic, ah, 1291? 1291? Ah, you guys need to listen up on the radio, and break, ah, trans states you're supposed to be behind Skywest! Ah, who's calling for push? Ah, bravo south, double back on the green line, stop abeam the tower, wait for 32 seconds then continue to the gate, and break, 1291?!?!?!, ah...."

Meanwhile NO ONE can get a word in to push or call for taxi.

Well, you get the drift.

I remember my first IOE trip... "Ok man, let's call ramp for push"..... "Call who for what?"... That was a long day for my captain lol.
Mine was "this is how you fill out a ASAP report"

"Do we have to call for push here?"

Ahh, Denver ramp. I bid to avoid any of our United flying that goes into Denver solely because of the ramp controllers. Although I do like "brother man", he at least knows what he's doing. (Actually, come to think of it, he might be in Ops. Haven't heard him for a while.)
