I just got off the phone with Sporty's - Starting at the end of this month I will be working there helping to create their educational DVDs!! This is my first job within aviation and I couldn't be more excited!!

Thanks...I'll be working on shooting and editing the videos as well as learning to create the 3D animations throughout the videos.....look out John and Martha!

I for the first time saw one of their VHS tapes yesterday and OMG it's so annoying! If I didn't love flying so much I would probably given up all together!

And what's up with Martha's head movement? Is she scanning for traffic? Well if she is let me tell ya she doesn't do a good job at all! And why does she talk the way she does when communicating w/ ACT? Jesus Christ man!

Three words:

SUPER-HYPER-ANNOYING

hah...i agree....just to clarify - they will be the competition...I won't be doing those DVDs...I'll be doing the Sporty's ones

You have a lot of work to do as the King's have branched out significantly:

Thats cool, how would you have gone about getting the job? Did you have experience with making videos?

It was posted on their website....I've got some experience in video production....I just graduated from the University of Kentucky with a telecom degree and did a lot of video classes and I've been a tv news photographer for about 6 months....as far as 3D animation goes, I'll have to learn it from scratch

Cool, that sounds like a lot of fun. About the 3D animation, from the work I have done with it, it is very time consuming to learn, but is a alot of fun.
