I was actually sent home on my last night working at a bowling/restaurant/banquet facility. The funny thing was before my shift started a couple of other busboys came to me and said lets just walk out tonight. I said no, no need to burn any bridges. Anyway, I was moving the salad bar cart/display thingy because the lobby was getting crowded and the owner (crusty old man), started making noise about what I was doing. I responded, "Your son asked me to do it. If you don't believe me, ASK HIM" He did not like that response and got all fired up then told me to leave.
I went and found the other busboys/friends and told them what happened. They said alrighty then. They dropped what they were doing and walked out. (not a smart thing for them to do, but oh well.) The business was busy with a couple of banquets that night as well and they owners were not too happy when we all left. It felt good at the moment, but was not too smart on my cohorts part. Looking back it was just a silly teenage mistake. And to think we thought that we knew everything. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
