Well, after much studying and no life for a few weeks, I have finally passed everything and have my paper DX license in hand! I can't believe how much work it takes to get this little piece of paper! haha! What's even harder for me to believe is that I can start applying for dispatch jobs. Wow!

I will be posting a very thorough review of AGS and their online/distance learning course. I will say that it was a very enjoyable experience and everyone at AGS (Flamingo Air) were super friendly, helpful and downright nice. I think most people in the class who took the oral and practical passed on their first try. Man, they throw so much info at you! LOL

Great I met Danny of AGS when he was in the UK. Still have a couple of months currency on the ADX Written, tempting.

How was the 5 day finish-up? Pretty intense :)

Thanks everybody!

Danny is an awesome guy with so much experience and so many stories. Hearing his stories was the best part of the class. The 5 day residency portion was very intense. My brain actually felt very tired. I was super tired for a few days after I got home. They teach you what you need to know to pass the oral and practical though!

Danny, if I'm not mistaken, is the only person that I'm aware of that has survived a crash in a P-51 racer at the Reno Air Races.

San Jacinto College Pasadena TX, then finished up at Universal Aviation and Weather, and yes it does feel great! I was so nervous in the Practical, I forgot to add an alternate in my flightplan but I did describe my way out of it! And then the Oral I thought I was doing ok, examiner kept going and kept asking how I thought I was doing, thought that was bad but he said I knew enough and passed me!
