Finally got to see where daddy works

Cessnaflyer

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The nugget has been wanting to see where daddy works for a long time. A couple weeks ago I finally was able to take him to the hangar to see where daddy sits on his butt for hours staring out the window. Once I get him potty trained he'll be taking some trips with me.

So Cute. Your son looks to happy to see your working place. Even if it possible you should take him twice or thrice in a year.

I know a lot of guys, myself included, who have pics like this of their childhood. While my old man was well retired from his Navy flying career by the time I have memories, his follow-on job allowed him full access (though completely unrelated to his job) to a hangar full of maintenance training birds that he would take me to check out. For some reason, I always wanted him to take me into the T-39 they had. He never tried to shepherd me into any particular career, but I think those early memories and resultant interest in aviation are why I am where I am now. Glad to see the torch being passed along to another generation.

Yep, here I am in the 757 in the single aisle factory in Renton.

I've always wanted to fly an airplane my dad help build but so far I've only rode a 757 jumpseat from HNL to SEA on a miserable red eye sitting on the Captain snorting his dandruff for 6 hours!

My dad wanted to fly but never could muster the money to make it happen. He was in ATC school when Regan hacked it so he continued at Boeing for 35 years. He retired in January so I'm hoping we get a few more Seattle trips this year and he can ride with me.
