Finally...a medical!

This might be better suited for the medical board but it is an announcement and I'll let the mods decide... After a bout with Hodgkin's lymphoma and some other unrelated medical issues I was issued a 1st class medical this week albeit a special issuance; I haven't held a medical since April 2008. Although I haven't decided exactly how I'm going to get back into aviation, I plan on at least doing my BFR and IPC in the next few weeks. Thankfully I've kept my CFI current and I actually just renewed so maybe I can bargain and skip the hour of ground for the BFR. We'll see!:laff:

Don't see why you couldn't. I just did a BFR for a guy who renewed his CFI. But, he had JUST renewed it at an AOPA FIRC.
