Fellow JC\'r in the back seat

Over the weekend I was up for a night flight with my Instructor and one of his friends who instructs was up on vacation from florida stopped by and ended up riding along ... well.. turns out after chatting a while he's a fellow JC'r. (Jester1092) ...

He's a pretty cool guy and the flight down to the pgh area went well.. but it was fun listening to stories and picking on my ole' instructor for a while !!

It amazes me how small the flying community can be sometimes !!!

That's one of the oldest truisms in the book. The old saying goes, "Be good to your f/o because he may be your chief pilot at another job in the future!"

Ain't that the truth! I am working with an instructor on the MD90 program, well, I had interviewed him 12 years earlier for a 747 Captain job. Aviation is a small community, for every arse you kiss today, is a person that will hire you in the future.
