Fee For Departure Committee

I am really curious to hear more about this. From what i have heard this has a lot to do with DCI. Seems like much support from the Ex-NWA MEC and was apparently thought as a very good idea from Pinnacle and Mesaba MEC's and were told by the rest of the DCI companies that they needed to look into it more. The idea being that all companies fly under similar Payscale's and contracts and that all be ALPA companies. Obviously singling out Skywest to make a move. Please flame away i can take it. Just saying what i have heard from a very reliable source...LOL

You don't want to be on the Safety Committee. You'll have trouble sleeping at night, and you'll be paranoid every time you're in the back of an airplane and something weird happens.

You think I'm joking...

I sometimes feel that way now.

Sorry, forgot to update. Yes, I talked to Captain Wychor and got some info yesterday. Apparently the goal of the new FFD Committee is to actually start working on ways to implement ideas such as portable longevity. Rather than conceptual work like the previous FFD Task Force, the new committee is going to work on actual implementation. It should be interesting to see what they come up with over the next year or two.
