Just need to get in touch with someone from Purple who is familiar with the DFW facility... I am going to try and catch a ride back home and had a few questions concerning logistics and the process as a whole.

Thanks,

B

ben you have to call the 800 number and list yourself at least 24 hours in advance! the people are extremely helpful and they can answer most of your questions.

I was interested in finding out about parking and the like.... been on FDX before out of IAH but DFW is a whole 'nother animal.... thanks though mista morris.

Stop by the guard shack on the northeast service road (North Airfield Dr)... they will provide you with a temporary parking pass to park in their lot right across the street from the guard shack. It's free.

Here's the location in the red circle:

Here's the red circle area expanded:

1. The Parking Lot... it's fenced in all around except that entry point.
2. The Guard Shack. You can just park in the parking area, then walk your bags to the guard shack via the sidewalk in the southern corner of the lot. Pick your tag up... leave your bags in the shack and go back out to put the tag in the car. OR... just pull up on the side of the road by the shack and get your tag then go park.
3. This is the building they will escort you to. The OPS office for check-in is in the rear on the second floor. Park your bags on the first floor inside the secure area before going upstairs to check in. Small crew area upstairs, or nice large general breakroom downstairs. Just tell OPS where you'll be.

Everyone there is real nice... I use them about twice a month.

Ask away if you want any other details.

Point of clarification, you can list no more than 24 hours out for your flight, but not less than 2.
