Of course.
Hell, there are people that lose their cookies if I, as a DTW captain, picked up an out-of-base trip in LAX, purely within my contractual rights, because someone in LAX assumed it would be their premium overtime trip.
Or, my favorite, I got a pithy text from a senior FO that was upset that I swapped out of a trip he swapped in to, under the assumption that he’d be dropped for an oE student. So I always tell the senior FO’s, “Don’t bid with me, I swap with reckless abandon without regard to anyone except what I’m trying to do in my personal life at home”
i only pick up straight time unless its premium and then I lie about it

Yes, in my 19 yrs of 121 flying I have done normal pickups and premium pickups.
Of recent, I have not done premium pickups.

because you have no values so you’ve been getting dragged the past week and a half and it’s funny watching you try to ingratiate yourself with the admin
Alright boys, you know how DergyDaddy always says “keep the receipts”? Y’all know what to do…
HIT ME WITH ‘EM!
We're balls deep in contract negations, when they go south, odd of him picking up straight time?

Oh no. What will the cabal do with the receipts?

But most importantly, how does it affect YOU?
We have this problem at my shop. I firmly believe that no one at any shop should be able to "block" their calendar. Any pilot should be able to look at the schedule of any other pilot - because the company can do it. The union has access to it. Etc. Etc.
When did a line of flying suddenly become top secret info.
Spoken like someone who sucks often at the Open Time Teat.Eek. I think I take the opposing view. Your calendar is your business. What right do I have to see yours?
Company and union are entities. Company is your employer. Union is your representation agent. The average John Doe pilot on the like is nothing - from your schedule perspective.
I think it’s a privacy thing. At our shop, I’m not aware of any “live” system to see someone else’s schedule. There is a buddy system, but you’d have to add their EMP # as a buddy for the buddies to see each others schedules.
