Federal Healthcare

read what i wrote, i was saying is that if you want a dental or vision plan, you first must have a health plan set up. i dont think you can JUST do a vision or dental plan by themselves.

I had read what you wrote, I am saying you are incorrect

http://www.opm.gov/insure/dental/index.asp

"Employees must be eligible for the FEHB Program in order to be eligible to enroll in Federal Employees Dental/Vision Program (FEDVIP). It does not matter if they are actually enrolled in FEHB - eligibility is the key. "

good point
no worries, so you can in fact sign up for just a dental or vision plan and not be signed on a health plan?? it seems like when i signed up for the dental and vision plan i had to put down what health plan i was on in order to get the vision and dental

I think all it asks is:

Are you enrolled in FEHB (the enrollment is in YOUR name)
OR
Are you covered as an eligible family member under someone else's FEHB enrollment?

and

Are you eligible for the FEHB Program?
