It's actually really crappy because I just took all my pics from Feb off of my memory card where they have sat all month and a ton of these would have looked awesome in black and white. Was at work for many sunrises and sunsets and got some good stuff. Here are 2 quick edits, of which I was going to try and demand one be entered in the contest, but fine, I will respect the archaic laws of this land.

There's some really good work in there, fellas. All were quite good, with some notable outstanding images. Interesting to see where different folks -dare I say it?- focused their attention. Some showed terrific composition. Others amazing texture. Still others used contrast effectively. Keep it up!
To the mods: is there any way to support the photo contest organizer in layout of the poll? It was somewhat tedious scrolling back and forth between poll header where the voting takes place and the actual photos which are buried well down the page. Any way to get the photos placed next to the respective voting button? This kind of layout would likely be helpful with other polls, too.

Decolorizing is cheating. So you're still breaking the law. ;)

So you're saying next time we do black and white I gotta go buy a film camera and some black and white film? ;)

Actually I might still have my old canon rebel around....

Gotta be with a fully manual SLR. Batteries can only be to run the light meter.

Develop the film yourself, in the darkest part of your house. Create your own prints, and send those by snail mail to Adler.

I'll hitch up the old covered wagon and journey through months of hardship.

The silver and copper are no big deal but I'm a little worried about the mercury fumes.

On the plus side, your work of the "new frontier" will be featured on every 5 cent postage stamp east of the Mississippi.

Congrats to #11, who didn't send his user name in the submission...

PM me your theme for next month.

For what it's worth, number 8 is mine, it was posted directly off the camera with zero post processing. It was tons of fun all month.
You might be pleased to know that it was a toss up between 8 and 11 for me. Did you take it in B/W or was the subject color just composed solely of black and white?

With an honorable mention to @ChasenSFO
