FCC Radio License

RWH1986

Some Guy
I would like to get my Radio License to have it for when I need it. I have no idea about how to get it. If somebody could point me in the right direction that would be great!

I think you just go to the FCC (FCC.gov) website, pay for it and they send it? There are a bunch of diff forms, I don't know what one.

THat is what I was wondering.....:(

You know they keep NO records of who has these things!!! A buddy lost his and gave them a call a couple years ago, and they told him thats why they cant reissue one to anybody cause they don't know that you ever had one or not...

Anyone know if they'll transition to plastic certs? Looks odd next to the FAA ones...

Planning to use mine on a quick Mexico trip next time I'm in AZ.

Alex.

I have flown 98% of my hours in Europe. Not once has anyone ever asked for the FCC license -even on a ramp check in France.

If you are USAF, and inference from your Ramstein AFB location, then your military certs are all that matter.

If you want a reissued license go to the FCC site and login with your FRN and select the option to change your address. You'll get a new cert in the mail in a few days, no cost.

Not that I am aware of of. I just had mine reissued and still got a paper one. Just laminate.
