Hi guys,
I'm going to be in Miami this weekend while on vacation and was thinking of renting an aircraft (ideally a 172) with instructor. My main goal is to do a bit of recreational flying and maybe do some aerial photography as I'm a a bit of a photo buff. Thing is I would like to bring my wife on board as well. I know if I leave her on the ground for an hour or so I will never hear the end of it, so here goes; Does anyone know of any flight schools/FBOs who are open to this idea? I know there are a bunch of outfits out there that do the same thing and then charge upwards of $250 for a C172 rental. To me paying twin engine price to rent a single engine aircraft w/instructor does not make financial sense. Just wanted to get your thoughts on this. If there is anyone out there with his/her own aircraft and wouldn't mind taking us up for a ride (will pay rates comparable to an FBO), I'm open to the idea as well. Any help/pointers will be sincerely appreciated.
