Hey Everyone,
Just curious to see what FBO everyone enjoys stopping at the most. I'll start off with Flower Aviation in SLN since I work there. BTW, if anyone is planning a stop or trip there, let me know!

I was really impressed with the service I recieved from "Regal Aviation" at Dallas Love Field. They were very GA friendly despite the nature of the airport at which they are located. 1st rate facilities, beautiful girls behind the counter inside, and friendly linesman combined with reasonable 100LL prices. Truly a great stop in the DFW metroplex.

Yeah they had those at PDK, pretty good. My favorite is signature at BWI. Got stuck there one night and they had 6 ice cream flavors and starbucks coffie for free. Then there is Albany, don't remember the name but we just droped off a guy in our King Air 200 and its was $180. It wasn't even that nice! A lot cheaper then JFK though. Don't remember the price but it wasn't worth it. There was no point buying fuel because the minumum was like 500 gallons!

Yeah nice location, I love west palm beach. Their ramp is always packed.

Lafayette Aero in Lafayette Regional Airport (Lafayette, LA). Man they buy crispy creme donuts usually every day and have about three boxes set out, on the week ends they even have freshed brewed coffee. Great people to, always bent over back to advertisemy private little business to people asking about for CFI's without even giving them a dime.

Gotta sink your Battleship on the BWI thing dude. Pre 9/11 maybe. Post 9/11 rots. Why? Having to be escorted to your plane 10' from the front door by someone who barely knows where the gas caps are. For a while, they even had to escort you on your preflight. Poor customer service, slow, and unfriendly.

Signature MIA has improved 100% in the last few years. And for Cit-kid....free hot dogs, popcorn, cookies, and ice cream.

Denver Jet Center APA
Atlantic Aviation MDW
DB Aviation UGN
Trego-Duncan LBF (yes, more cookies) great service.

Wanna have real fun? Name the worst

I don't go to many airports. I basically do the same trip every day I fly. OXB-MTN-OXB so BWI was a break. I usally get stuck at lil mom and pop FBO's which isn't bad, but they arn't really nice. Don't know why I liked BWI so much, just kinda did.

Heya,

I'm a REALLY big fan of MillionAir over at Burke Lakefront in Cleveland. Even though I fly Warrior's and Arrow's in there, every time I show up I get treated great. Normally they have a $35 service fee, but they wave it with the purchase of gas. Last time I showed up, I had them put in one gallon in the right tank. I appologized, explained I was getting around their fee and the person behind the counter shruged and said "That's the smart thing to do, we make up for it in all the jet fuel we sell so it does not matter" and then I went on to have a conversation with her about flight training as she was going through the ratings at the time. Great facility, treats small planes well; I love it.

Signature at Meigs was the absolute worst.

Cheers

No factor now...they've been dealt with.

The folks at Columbia Air at RUT were real nice. One of the line guys even let me borrow his car, so we could get lunch in town.
