Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

That and Canouan. I didn't get to go in there, but according to an unnamed former member of our flight department, the dormant volcanoes on either side of the runway will nearly rip the wings off.

Again...you'd have to try REALLY REALLY hard to do it.
And be flying what, two spruce gooses welded errr nailed together? Haha

If you're coming into APA from the north, as we always do when we go down there, they drop you down early, like 10,000' MSL at Fort Collins early. Head down I-25, enjoy the Front Range sunset.

Corfu in Greece is great fun. If you look left at 2nm or right at 1nm you are eye level with punters on their hotel balconies drinking G&Ts while getting ready to hold up the scorecards for your landing.

You didn't go down there? Was that @auw2fly and me that went in there after the warnings?
Yup that was us. I believe the warnings were from SD after he and I flew in there, so you know the challenges were greatly exaggerated.

The most challenging part was trying to hear ATC talking in their tin can.

For me it'd be the ILS10R at KFCM.....Nothing spectacular about the approach but it was the first one I learned and will be remembered for that reason alone.

ILS 15 into KISM at night with universal studios and Disney doing their fireworks shows.

ILS 12 into OAK at night when it is clear, is pretty darn gorgeous. Only done it once, but a night visual into 10R at SFO is also very gorgeous.

The RNAV to 23 with a circle to 5 in Savoonga is exciting in the winter time. You break out and the ground is all white, sky is white, and there is a mile visibility. There is no depth perception at all, and you cant over shoot the centerline with the hills on the other side.
